Employee Spotlight: Brian McMahon, CIC

Brian McMahon is a Commercial Account Manager in our Ocean City office. Prior to joining the agency full time in 2009, Brian performed special projects and property evaluations for the agency.   In 2016, Brian obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in order to share the best insurance knowledge with clients and other members of the agency.

Get to know Brian:

1. 1. What is your favorite part about working at McMahon Insurance Agency?
      • Brian:  Being able to work with family and an amazing team of people- some of which I have known my whole life. 
   2. Do you have a favorite author or quote?
      • Brian: “To be the man, you got to beat the man.”- Charlie Manuel quoting Ric Flair
   3. Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us.
      • Brian: I was a Division I athlete in cross country/track…  but decided to not go pro.
   4. What do you do for fun?
      • Brian: Besides enjoying time with my family, I like to grill and also shoot sporting clays. 
   5. If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?
      • Brian: Yosemite National Park. 
   6. If you could learn to do anything what would it be?
      • Brian: Woodworking. Or knowing anything about car engines and how they work.
