Get to know more about Steacy:

  1. What drew you to McMahon Insurance Agency originally? And how has McMahon Insurance Agency changed since?
    • Steacy: I was actually told about a possible opportunity from a friend.  When looking into the Agency, I realized that the turnover was very minimal due to the length of employment by most employees there.  To me, this meant that employees are happy and feel appreciated.  When I was hired, I realized my gut instinct was right- everyone working here is so nice and truly likes working here.  When I first started we were at 2131 Asbury and have since moved to our new location at 901 Simpson.  The new office is absolutely gorgeous.  If you haven’t seen it, stop in and take a peek.  We would ALL be glad to see you! The McMahon’s are a terrific family to work for and are constantly looking for ways to keep up with modern technology to make things easy and efficient for us all!  They are also hands on with literally EVERYTHING!!!  So glad I became a part of the Team!
  2. Do you have a favorite author or quote?
    • Steacy: That’s a tough one.  I actually have three.  1) Maya Angelou: “Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away” 2) “The Most Important Things in Life aren’t things”.  3) Anthony J. D’Angelo: “Enjoy the little things, for one day you will look back and realize they were the BIG THINGS”.
  3. Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
    • Steacy: I was able to see a great deal of the United States as I drove a Tractor Trailer Coast to Coast many years ago.  It was quite the adventure!  There is so much in the United States to see!!  Obviously, due to this experience I have a much bigger bucket list.
  4. Top three life highlights?
    • Steacy: Hands down the top two highlights in my life have been the birth of my daughter, Nicole and my son, Shane!  So very proud of them both.
  5. What phobias do you have?
    • Steacy: I have horrible Acrophobia – Acrophobia is an extreme or irrational fear or phobia of heights, especially when one is not particularly high up. I have to admit if I approach the stairs from opposite the hallway side it makes me queasy.
  6. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
    • Steacy: If I won the lottery….The 1st thing I would do is to make sure my parents are taken care of.  2nd would be to surprise my mom & my daughter and take them to Ireland.
  7. What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
    • Steacy: Cleaning the gutters.  I am sure this is partly due to my fear of heights.  My children have been a tremendous help these past few years and have pretty much taken over with the gutter cleaning.

Thank you for your hard work, Steacy! You take pride in everything you do and it shows when you work with your clients.
