    1. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
      • Darleen:  I would let my parents and my mother-in-law know they don’t have to worry about money anymore.
    2.  If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
      • Darleen: I would love to learn other languages.
    3. What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
      • Darleen: ?  I love Zumba.  I have been doing Zumba for 7 years, and I have my older sister, Donna, to thank for introducing me to it.  I have always liked dancing and that’s why I think I like it so much.  I saw a saying once that read “ There are no wrong steps in Zumba, only unexpected solos”.  What’s not to love about that?!
    4. What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
      • Darleen: I hate washing dishes, but I can’t stand dirty dishes sitting in the sink.  So I wash dishes almost immediately.  I have a dish washer, but I don’t like the thought of dirty dishes sitting in there either, so I wash everything by hand.
    5. What was the best concert you ever attended?
      • Darleen: My daughter’s Sunday School Concert when she was 5 years old.  Her class was to sing all the verses to ‘Away in the Manger’.  We spent weeks practicing it during car rides.  After the first verse the rest of her class went silent, but she went right on singing the whole thing.  I was so proud that she was brave enough to go on by herself in front of everyone.
    6. Where’s your favorite place in the world?
      • Darleen: Home is my favorite place, or anywhere when I am with my children.
    7. If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?
      • Darleen: I would like to go to England.  I am a huge fan of Jane Austen and would like to see the country where she lived.
    8. What’s your favorite ’80s jam?
      • Darleen: My favorite 80’s jam is ‘Take On Me’ by A-ha.  Loved the music video on MTV and I think of it every time I hear the song.  We do a version of it with a samba mix in Zumba and it’s one of my favorites.  Takes me back to big hair, turned up collars, and punk rock.

It has been fun getting to know you more and we are happy to have you on our team. Thank you Darleen!
