Employee Spotlight: Christina Scarborough, CISR

Chris Scarborough hockeyChristina Scarborough, better known as “Chris”, holds a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and joined us in 2012, after Hurricane Sandy hit the Jersey coast. Prior to working at McMahon Insurance Agency, Chris spent five years in management at another firm before joining the Condominium Department where she specializes in Unit Owners, H06 policies, Condo Package Policies, and Commercial Flood insurance.  Get to know more about Chris:

  1. What drew you to McMahon Insurance Agency originally?
    • Chris: After Hurricane Sandy I was helping with scanning and it ended up turning into a full time job.
  2. Tell us three things most people don’t know about you…
    • Chris: 1) I play in a Women’s Street Hockey League. 2) I lived in the Virgin Islands for 5 years. 3) I was inducted to the Hall of Fame for Field Hockey at Rider University.
  3. What phobias do you have?
    • Chris: Sinkholes.
  4. What is the one thing you cannot resist?
    • Chris: Ice cream!
  5. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
    • Chris: Take my family on vacation. 
  6. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
    • Chris: Sing. I have a terrible voice!
  7. What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
    • Chris: Vacuuming.
  8. What was the best concert you ever attended?
    • Chris: Billy Joel at Citizens Bank Park.
  9. Where’s your favorite place in the world?
    • Chris: White Bay, Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. 
  10. If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?
    • Chris: Thailand.
