Spring weather is unpredictable. The warmer spring temperatures brings with it a mix of threats, including hailstorms, tornadoes, and flood damage.
According to P&C 360, here are the top 3 claims most likely to occur in the Mid-Atlantic Region (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, and West Virginia)
Water Damage: 27%
Wind Damage: 17%
Hail Damage: 11%
Tips to prepared for the unexpected:
- Prepare your home’s exterior. Take the time to reinforce roofs before storm season hits. Check your hurricane straps or clips which help secure the roof-to-wall connections.
