Joan Adams joined McMahon Insurance Agency over 16 years ago and specializes in maintaining condominium accounts. Joan holds a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and is always eager to learn more about the industry. - What is your proudest moment at McMahon Insurance Agency?
- Joan: After Hurricane Sandy, our agency was named Flood Agent of the year. We were one of two agencies across the nation to receive this award. That just goes to show how well our agency handled this disaster as well as how prepared with an emergency plan for such an event. To be able to immediately service our customers after the storm was quite impressive.

- Joan: Trustworthy, Responsive, Professional
- What drew you to McMahon Insurance Agency originally? And how has McMahon Insurance Agency changed since?
- Joan: I worked previously for an agency in Atlantic City. The idea of working in a family shore town intrigued me. The best part is that is hasn’t changed. We still cater to our clients who are both permanent and seasonal home & business owners.
- What is the favorite part about working for McMahon Insurance Agency?
- Joan: My fellow employees are The Best. I’ve been here over 16 years. They are like family!
- Tell us something about your family that might surprise us.
- Joan: I have 2 children that both played Division 1 athletics in college and my son played a year of professional baseball. I am a very proud Mom!
- What do you do for fun?
- Joan: I love the beach and to travel.
- What is the one thing you cannot resist?
- Joan: The candy jar in our department.
