Get to know Beth here:

  1. What is your proudest moment at McMahon Insurance Agency?
Beth: My proudest moment at the McMahon Insurance Agency was being hired. It was my first full-time job out of college and I was thrilled to be offered a position at an esteemed agency in my hometown.
  2. What are 3 words to describe McMahon Insurance Agency?
    Beth:

    • Driven: Management and employees work hard to find the best companies and rates for the clients, and strive to bring in more clients each day.
    • Generous: Along with offering the day off for our birthday, the agency rewards employees who reach new business goals as a team and individual.
    • Considerate: Life can present both obstacles and moments of celebration. In our personal hardships or triumphs  the management and employees are thoughtful and kind.
  3. What drew you to McMahon Insurance Agency originally? And how has McMahon Insurance Agency changed since?
Beth: My childhood friend, Brian McMahon told me about the available position at the agency. I began work at The McMahon Agency in 2007 and it has not only lengthened in name (The McMahon Insurance Agency), but since then they have added the Marmora and Cape May locations as well as building a beautiful new building in Ocean City. I think it is safe to say growth has been the biggest change in my time at the agency.
  4. What is the favorite part about working for McMahon Insurance Agency?
Beth: My favorite part about The McMahon Insurance Agency is the feeling of family. The members of the McMahon Family understand the importance of family, and while they treat us like extended family they also acknowledge the value of spending time with our own.
  5. Do you have a favorite author or quote?
Beth: I am a beach-read kind of girl. While Maeve Binchy is one of my all-time favorite authors, I also enjoy authors Jennifer Weiner and Meghan McCafferty for their humor and also because of their ties and references to the Jersey Shore in their books.
  6. Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
Beth: I have held a job since about the age of 6. My first job was selling the Philadelphia Inquirer and eventually The Press of Atlantic City outside St. Augustine’s church (now St. Damien’s Parish) every Sunday in the summer with my siblings. I eventually sold solo at the age of 11. My nephews and nieces can now be found selling those same newspapers outside of the 2nd Street church formerly known as St. Frances Cabrini.
  7. Tell us three things most people don’t know about you…
    Beth:

    • I qualified for and ran in the Penn Relays.
    • I have 5 siblings. I am proud when someone in town asks me if I am a Cocozza.
    • In 2004, I won the Miss Ocean City scholarship pageant.
  8. Top three life highlights?
Beth: To date, I would say marrying my husband, the birth of my kids, and going to the Ellen DeGeneres show in California with my sister Lainie.
  9. What do you do for fun?
Beth: As a mom of two boys under the age of four, my current idea of fun would be described as adventures with the family, watching Disney and other animated movies, hosting dance parties in the kitchen to said Disney movie soundtracks, summer beach days, reading, and the occasional date night with my husband.

Thank you for everything you do, Beth!
