Employee Spotlight: Angela Wolfe, ACSR, CISR

Angela WolfeAngela Wolfe is Branch Manager for our Marmora Office and specializes in Personal Lines Policies.  Angela is an expert in insuring coastal homes, as she has worked in the insurance industry for nearly 30 years and has been an integral part of the McMahon Insurance team since 1991.  Angela holds the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) and the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations.

    1. What is your favorite part about working for McMahon Insurance Agency?
      • Angela: Working here for 27 years of course makes you feel like part of the family not only with The McMahon’s themselves but with my co-workers, it’s a great feeling to know you have great co-workers and bosses to back you up and support you in both work and personal life.
    2. What drew you to McMahon Insurance Agency originally? And how has McMahon Insurance Agency changed since?
      • Angela: At the young age of 22 it seemed like a nice place to work so I applied for a job and I harassed and harassed until they finally hired me and I still harass on a daily basis!  When I first started I handled an alpha split and serviced clients. This was always rewarding to me.  I later became a manager and handle the new personal business that comes into the agency along with managing our Marmora location.  The insurance world is ever changing but one constant is that the family owned business is still a family owned business but with many changes, especially with our now 3 locations and beautiful new office in Ocean City.
    3. Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
      • Angela: I am a grandmother, I know hard to believe.
    4. What are three career lessons you’ve learned thus far?
      • Angela: Always make your environment happy and fun so you can enjoy what you are doing. Never think things won’t change, Just roll with the changes and make the best out of it. Always write your passwords down in a secret place.
    5. What do you do for fun?
      • Angela: Watch son play baseball, Shop and Beach
